What about insurance coverage?
Acupuncture
is one of the CAM therapies that are more commonly covered
by insurance. However, you should check with your insurer
before you start treatment to see whether you have acupuncture
benefits, and, if so, any dedutibles, and to what extent.
Payments are generally due at the time of service. Reimbursement
will be return to the patient once the refund check comes
back from your insurer. This process usually takes 15-30
business days.
